Crashed on 6.1.1987 at Stockholm-Arlanda: The nose pitched
down at a height of 10 metres after Takeoff. The Caravelle hit the runway
hard causing the landing gear to collapse. The aircraft slidded off the runway and
caught fire. Probable cause:Flight control problems and ice accumulation on
stabilizer (see foto) |
