Geneva-based
Air City was formed in 1988 and operated a single Caravelle, HB-ICJ, on
inclusive tours. The aircraft came from Europe Aéro Service in May 1988,
after it saw service with Finnair and Altair of Italy. In 1993 it was sold
to Aero Jet, another short-lived Swiss charter airline, and in 1996 the
Caravelle was acquired by Zaire-based company Waltair as 9Q-CPY. It is
stored at Kinshasa today as 9Q-CPI and still belongs to Waltair |
